If you're a fan of La Sirène's Praline (and considering it's a past GABS People's Choice champion, there are likely to be have plenty of those over the years), here's an event for you: Woodlands Hotel is putting on a La Sirène showcase – not all the beers, just Praline.
They're dipping into the cellar and pulling out the 2016 vintage to serve alongside this year's edition, plus the 2017 Imperial Praline, Praline magnums and a Praline cocktail.
The La Sirène team will be there from 2pm–6pm on July 8, though if you can't make it then they'll still be serving up the various Pralines over the duration of the weekend. Tasting paddles of the 2016, 2017 and Imperial version will be available.
If you've never had Praline but can imagine that chocolate, vanilla and hazelnut wrapped up in a Belgian stout would be quite nice, you're be quite right and this ought to be a pretty decadent introduction to its charms.
