In normal circumstances, a grand opening party is held on the day a place opens. But sometimes you just end up getting so busy that the celebrating gets postponed for a few days. Or, in the case of Cutty Cellars Bankstown, a few months.
Nonetheless, they're determined to belatedly celebrate their arrival in Sydney's south west so are hosting what's essentially an epic tasting session. Head there on July 22 and you'll be able to try beers from the following:
- Batch Brewing Co
- Pirate Life
- Sydney Brewery
- Sierra Nevada
- Black Hops
- Bruny Island Beer
- Young Henrys
- Mornington Peninsula
...and plenty more to come. You'll also be able to tuck into some wine, whisky and gin. And the best part? Entry and tastings are free.
In order to ensure you head home with something nice, there'll be plenty of in-store specials (think 30 percent off single beers and wines, 15 percent off spirits and discounts on six packs and cartons). And so you can make a day of it, the good folks from Pie Run will be bringing food.
Things kick off at 1pm and will run through until around 4pm. And, if you're a Crafty Pint supporter...
Crafty Cabal Event Special
If you're a Crafty supporter who's signed up for the Crafty Cabal there's a Batch Brewing Co four-pack and glass awaiting you.
Simply buy $30 or more from the store on the day, show them the offer in your member's area and the gift is yours.
NB There's only 20 packs so make sure you're there early to grab one.
