Job Description: Head of Supply Chain

Capital Brewing Co is one of Australia’s fastest growing craft breweries - we have a new position open for a Head of Supply Chain, operating from our production facility at Dairy Road in Canberra. 

The Head of Supply Chain has management oversight across raw materials coming onto site right through to the keg landing with the customer on time - and everything in between. 

You will need to have a strong track record and associated qualifications in beverage production management, preferably brewing / wine making.

You will need to be extremely process driven with a focus on continuous improvement, documented operating procedures coupled with regular and ongoing training. 

You will need the management capability to and implement process improvements across the entire supply chain from production and quality control to incoming and outgoing goods and warehousing processes. 

Our number one priority across our entire operation is the safety of our Staff and Customers. You will work closely with our Safety / WHS Manager to continually develop safety and product quality culture across the operation.

A critical area of focus will be in our quality and food safety control processes, ensuing we are continuously improving and implementing industry best practice, HACCP compliant procedures across our operation.

You will have four direct reports 

  • Head Brewer
  • Packaging Manager
  • Site Maintenance and Safety Manager
  • Warehousing, Freight and Distribution Supervisor

Capital Brewing Co has been in operation since April 2018, we occupy 2,500 sqm at Dairy Road in Fyshwick, employing over 50 staff in both Canberra and Sydney.

This position commences July 1, 2020 with a competitive salary for the right applicant.
