Its beers come in unique bottles featuring exclusive artwork, it’s part of a wider business that encompasses the incredible MONA and in the past year or so it has spread its operation far and wide across Australia.

Now an opportunity has arisen to take a major role in Moo’s future success as they look for a General Manager.

Job Description

The gig:
In one of the most exciting opportunities for 2013, Moo Brew is seeking a strong and dynamic leader to drive its commercial operations. Your hands-on, multi-disciplinary expertise in general management will see you take on this key role for Tasmania’s leading micro-brewery. Reporting to the owner of Moo Brew, your mandate will be to focus on Moo Brew’s annual growth strategy through managing a team of 12 including brewers, office and sales staff.

Moo Brew represents a challenging beer experience for all beer lovers. Moo Brew produces five core beers:
* a Pilsner
* a German style Hefeweizen
* a Belgian Pale Ale
* an American Pale Ale
* an American Dark Ale

Moo Brew also produces a range of seasonal beers, all at our brewery in Bridgewater.

Salary negotiable – circa $90k.

The you:
• Strong General Management experience including purchasing, production, packaging, and sales and marketing.
• Strong demonstrated leadership experience.
• Experience in managing budgets of similar sized operations.
• Relevant alcohol industry experience desirable.
• Tertiary business (or related) qualifications required.
• Postgraduate qualifications desirable.
