Job Description: Packaging Manager

Hawkers are looking for a packaging manager to take charge of all thing packaging.
What you will be in charge of:
- Safety around the line and maintaining the safety culture in packaging
- Manage a team of six, plus casuals, in two shifts.
- Training and development of new staff and casuals.
- Maintain a culture of fun, open communication
- Maintain and create additional preventative maintenance schedules for the packaging line.
- Assist and maintain cleaning schedules as well as SOP's.
- Conduct stocktake of packaging goods on-site along with maintaining contract clients SOH reports
- Converse with contract clients around requirements and timings of packaging.
- Maintaining Hawkers high standard of QC checks and taste program.
- Maintaining our documentation along with making sure SAP is up to date.
Preferred experience and attitudes required:
- Three to five years experience in a similar role
- Engineering or brewing qualification
- Good mechanical aptitude and logical proven problem solving ability.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- A strong work ethic
- Experience with lean manufacturing theory and implementation
