Job Description: Events and Community Engagement Coordinator

A rare and exciting opportunity exists for an emerging events manager to join our expanding, high-performing team with an exceptional workplace culture. Based at our Fyshwick Brewery and Tap Room you will plan and deliver high quality events both in-house at the Tap Room and off-site at festivals and events. You will also build connections with the local community, representing the company at sponsor events, and responding to requests for support through our Good Natured Community initiative. You will work closely with the Partnerships and Events Manager and a small, agile team to develop and deliver small to large-scale events and projects for our Good Natured Crew members, staff and partners. Your efforts will support the fine work of our brewers and close-knit team sharing the Capital goodness with the broader community.

About You

The successful applicant will be a highly driven, and capable individual seeking to pursue a career in events and community engagement. Preferably a recent graduate with 1 -2 years relevant event management experience, you will be competent in safely planning and executing small to medium sized events with aesthetic and artistic flare. You will posses strong interpersonal skills, and a desire to consistently deliver world-class customer service. You will be well connected with and passionate about supporting our local community. You will possess a keen eye for detail, display initiative and be able to work unsupervised and under pressure to deadlines. You'll tackle the less glamorous, but none-the-less vital parts of the job with enthusiasm. You'll be up for working a Tues - Saturday most weeks during the event season. You won't be afraid to take off on a killer adventure to rep our brews. .  And it will probably help if you love a good beer!
