SENIOR MARKETING MANAGER / HEAD OF MARKETING
PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
One Drop Brewing Co is an independently owned and operated brewery and distillery with a funky taproom and gin bar located in Botany, South East Sydney, showcasing our innovative, boundary pushing creations. In under three years we have become a well recognised brand in the Craft Beer community for our consistent quality and boundary pushing flavours, styles and processes...
We have earned international and national awards for both beer and gin, and worldwide recognition for our prolific new releases. We have learnt a lot about marketing along the way and it is now time to let someone take it to the next level.
We are looking for our founding marketing person, someone well experienced who loves their craft and wants to work with us, growing our brand and presence.
Reporting directly to the owners you will be responsible for all things marketing while communicating our brand, who we are, and the stories of the exciting beers we continue to create.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Craft strategies for all Marketing channels, including Digital, Advertising, Communications and Creative.
- Set, monitor and report on team goals
- Create consistent branding, positioning, and messaging while also liaising with our Sales teams on pricing strategies
- Ensure our brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts (like events, email campaigns, web pages and promotional material)
- Analyze consumer behaviour.
- Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share
- Coordinate sales and marketing efforts to boost brand awareness.
- Actively participate and contribute to a culture of passion, quality, care.
- Develop and execute all digital brand comms.
- Conceptualise and implement innovative digital marketing campaigns to drive enquiries and footfall.
- Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share
- Coordinate sales and marketing efforts to boost brand awareness
- Manage the brand’s online presence in all its components, website, social media, google etc...
- Drive our social media strategy and content creation.
- Working collaboratively with the team and directors to schedule content, manage and implement EDMs.
- Manage photography assets for the group including management of photographers + briefing documents for any new photo or video shoots.
- Schedule digital content & set up promotions as required.
- Manage and implement email marketing campaigns, segmenting the client database.
- Liaise regularly with the Directors to ensure the key objectives of the annual plan are being met.
- Create creative content suitable for One Drop campaigns.
- Create and deliver meaningful content for upcoming activations, new beer releases, brewery happenings, sharing brand story, internal / external events etc.
- Track and measure the success of digital marketing campaigns and report findings to the Directors at the end of each campaign.
- Coaching the team to consistently deliver world-class, memorable guest experiences with our brand.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- 3 years experience as Senior Marketing Manager, preferably within our industry.
- Experience running successful marketing campaigns
- Solid knowledge of web analytics, Google Adwords, SEO.
- Experience with CRM software
- Leadership skills with the ability to set and prioritise goals.
- Analytical mind.
- BSc or MSc in Marketing or relevant fields.
- Agency experience or have worked with another liquor brand preferable.
