Job Description: Liquor Sales Assistants
We are a brand new boutique food and liquor store opening in Elsternwick. Harold's will offer something different from your standard bottle or grocery store, think craft beer from some of Australia's brightest and best along with independent food labels packaged in a slick newly renovated premises on Elsternwick high street a stone's throw from the train station.
We are looking for energetic individuals who are passionate about the craft liquor scene and are a bit of a foodie at heart. You will have a good understanding of beer and wine varieties and be passionate about what you do.
Successful applicants will posses the following attributes:
- Confident, with the ability to converse with customers and provide recommendations
- Responsible and enthusiastic
- Passionate about the food and liquor industry
- Team player
- VIC valid RSA certificate or willing to obtain before commencement
Some of the tasks the role entails:
- Stocking shelves (some heavy lifting involved)
- Attending to customer needs and product recommendations
- Various cleaning duties
- Ensuring responsible service of alcohol guidelines
Favourable attributes:
- Experience in the food and liquor industry
Please note that an accredited Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate is a legal requirement for employment selling liquor in Australia. (In some states this accredited RSA may be State-specific and not the nationally accredited training.)

Salary: Up to $30.36 per hour
