Nillumbik Cellars in Diamond Creek has a fine array of craft beer, not to mention a fantastical range of wines, spirits and more. But it's the first of these where they're seeking your help in the form of a part time craft beer buyer.
JOB DESCRIPTION: PART TIME CRAFT BEER PURCHASER
Nillumbik Cellars is looking for a Part Time Craft Beer Purchaser to manage our large range of product and continue to expand on our craft beer following.
The role will include:
- Meeting with beer reps.
- Ordering stock every week.
- Introducing new products to the store.
- Organisation and running of tastings and events.
- Stocking and maintaining craft beer fridges and dry stock.
- Customer service / sales.
- Operating a till to process sales.
The desired applicant will have skills in the following:
- A background in the liquor industry. (Having a buying background is an advantage)
- Good customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Basic computer skill (MS Word, Facebook, newsletters).
- MUST BE over 18 years of age.
