Job Description: Chef de Partie
We’re taking craft brewing to the next level with our three-storey Brewery in the heart of Dunwich, the gateway to North Stradbroke Island. With twelve beers on tap across 2 bars, a fully equipped kitchen serving the freshest local cuisine and a sunset roof top bar with spectacular views, we are fast becoming THE destination outside of Brisbane.
We're looking for a motivated, skilled, and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to help deliver our vision for Straddie Brewing Co – a community meeting place, an independent and locally owned and operated manufacturer, and a destination venue that encourages visitors to be mindful and to cherish and actively protect Straddie’s vast natural beauty, friendly island vibe and rich history.
Joining our Head Chef Casey Burke and a passionate kitchen team, this unique and highly sought-after opportunity will see you work in a fast-paced environment with a menu focused on sustainable, local and seasonal produce.
Attributes we’re looking for:
- To be able to work and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment;
- Commercial Cookery Certification or equivalent work experience (minimum 4 years);
- Demonstrated experience within a 200 pax casual-dining establishment;
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a team player;
- Neo-Neapolitan pizzaiolo experience (not essential but an awesome bonus);
- Most of all, a love and appreciation for Straddie.
