The Local Drinks Collective was formed by Wayward and Batch in October as a means of giving its indie brewer members greater firepower in the market. 

As 2022 draws to a close, they're hiring a warehouse and logistics coordinator.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator

Location: Camperdown, Sydney

Full time: hourly or salary depending on candidate

Local Drinks Collective is a newly formed business between Batch and Wayward Brewing Co’s to help streamline operations and grow our respective brands in the Australian marketplace. And we are looking for an energetic person with a can-do attitude to help us.

The Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator role involves managing the logistics around inward deliveries of our raw materials with the production team, to managing the finished goods in our warehouse to hand over to the logistics team to deliver, as well as making stock deliveries to our five hospitality venues. 

This role will see you ensuring brewers have their malt in time to brew, their cans and boxes in time to pack, and to finally hand over to the team who will get it out to all those thirsty consumers in pubs and bottleshops!

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Fork Lift License preferred (but we can help with that too)
  • Clean Driver's License
  • Medium Rigid License (we can help get you this)
  • Administrative computer skills (Excel / cloud based systems)
  • Good communication skills

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Assisting production team in ordering dry goods to be delivered in a timely fashion
  • Managing daily internal deliveries
  • Ensure POD’s are maintained
  • Prepare orders for shipping
  • Load/unload vehicles
  • Sign for incoming/outgoing shipments and finalizing any internal documentation associated with that
  • Stock management via IT systems
  • Maintaining a clean warehouse
  • Rotating stock
  • Regular stock takes
