Job Description: Sales Manager
Slipstream Brewing are a team of passionate people, producing some of the most accessible and sessionable craft beers in Australia. Our beers are brewed with nothing but pure flavour in mind, with our popular, award-winning core range line-up as well as a regular limited-release program & exclusive small batch program.
We have a new opportunity in our team for a Sales Manager who will lead the strategic direction of our on and off-premise sales program focusing primarily in Queensland.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of sales experience in the liquor industry, be a highly motivated team player who has great attention to detail, shows initiative, has strong communication skills, a creative side and of course, an immense passion for craft beer.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Founders / Managing Directors to set sales targets which support the future growth of the business.
About the role:
- Create and execute a sales strategy to meet targets and distribution growth goals
- Manage the relationship with on and off premise customers
- Manage and track sales activity and performance
- Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth
- Develop and maintain a structured sales call plan
- Execute trade education and training, including utilising our brewery and venue
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including marketing and product development to plan and activate promotional activity and ensure we are meeting key account and consumer demands
- Ensure our products are located in key selling positions within retail outlets and on-premise venues
- Represent Slipstream Brewing at industry and consumer events
Desirable skills & experience:
- 5+ years in sales, with 3+ years’ experience in sales in the liquor industry
- Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships
- Previous success in achieving sales targets
- Relationships with key accounts in Queensland liquor and hospitality sector
- Experience working with National Accounts eg, Coles / EDG will be highly regarded
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team across the business
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work outside of regular business hours as needed
- Current drivers licence
- Queensland RSA
This is a full-time position and will be based out of our Yeerongpilly site. Remuneration will be commensurate with experience and will include a car allowance and incentive program.
