Job Description: Venue Manager
$80,000 – $90,000 per year

Alice Springs Brewing Co is seeking a talented and dedicated Venue Manager to join our team and lead the operations of our vibrant Brew Pub in Alice Springs. If you have a knack for managing a bustling venue, a love for beer, and a desire to be part of a dynamic and growing organisation, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the brewery taproom, ensuring a smooth and efficient running of all activities.
- Provide outstanding customer service, creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for all guests.
- Train, supervise, and motivate a team of bartenders, servers, and support staff, fostering a positive and high-performing work environment.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards to ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to maintain optimal levels of craft beer and other beverage offerings.
- Collaborate with the team to organise and execute events, tastings, and promotions to attract and engage customers.
- Work closely with the brewing team to provide customer feedback, ensure beer quality, and assist in new beer releases.
- Monitor financial performance, budgeting, and reporting, optimising profitability and identifying areas for improvement.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in venue management, preferably in the hospitality or craft beer industry.
- Passion for craft beer and a strong understanding of different beer styles and brewing processes.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
- Sound knowledge of inventory management, cost control, and financial reporting.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, to meet operational needs.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and licensing regulations applicable to a hospitality venue.
- Must be eligible to work in Australia and hold the necessary work permits.
