Madocke Beer are a Gold Coast brewery that focuses on Belgian-style beers and do it incredibly well, having secured multiple beer awards, including last year's Champion Small Independent Brewery trophy.

Job Description: Sales Representative

Start Date: Before May 31

Location: Ashmore, Gold Coast, Queensland

Help us to celebrate and promote Australia's Champion Small Independent Brewery and the only Belgian-owned and operated brewery Down Under, to a greater audience. We’re on the hunt for an experienced and knowledgeable Sales Representative to help us achieve our goals and support our existing customer network.

About the Role:

We're seeking a personable and beer-passionate sales rep to take charge of our wholesale portfolio, maintain existing relationships, implement strategies, and help us achieve sustainable growth.

Key Duties:

  • Maintain existing customer relationships.
  • Liaise with our large corporate customers.
  • Form and nurture new customer relationships.
  • Promote Madocke to a wider audience.
  • Liaise with other team members and distribution partners. 
  • Drive on premise tastings.
  • Identify and convert new opportunities.
  • Attend industry events as a representative of Madocke.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies.
  • Partner with our Marketing Manager to conduct market research, develop strategies and drive sales.
  • Partner with our Brewing Team to strategize upcoming beer releases, brewing capacity requirements and potential opportunities.
  • Sell delicious, award-winning, Belgian style beers!

About You:

  • Have a love for craft beer and the amazing surrounding community.
  • Have an appreciation for the unique nature of the craft beer industry. 
  • Be willing to champion traditional Belgian beer styles.
  • Are a real people person - with an attitude focused on building genuine connections and supporting our community.
  • Have previous sales experience, ideally in the craft beer industry.
  • Able to understand and negotiate for corporate contracts.
  • Solid computer literacy skills.
  • Hold a valid manual driver's licence and have reliable transport.
  • Hold or a willing to obtain an RSA certification.
  • Highly driven and self-motivated.
  • Well organised, planned & highly skilled in time management.
  • Ability to innovate and effectively communicate ideas.
