About you
You’re ready to unleash your creativity. You want autonomy and flexibility with your work day. You want to work with an engaged team to create beers and beer drinking experiences that punters talk about for years after they’ve drained their glass.
You’ve been a commercial brewer for a while and are ready to break out of the big beer machine and fall back in love with making beer again.
You’re ready to be Bucketty’s new Head Brewer.
The Role

We seek a brewer to guide us to the promised land where beery dreams are made and we reckon this could even be the best brewing job in Australia!

We value innovation and creativity, which you can unleash on either the 3 vessel 10hl Brewtique brewhouse, or 200L pilot system.
We don’t work to the mercy of big box retailers, selling our beer exclusively to independent bottle shops and bars as well as inside our busy 200pax tap room.
As the Head Brewer, you’ll also be managing and mentoring a senior brewer, and trainee brewer.
Salary: $90k to $120k inc super, depending on experience.

- A 3 month paid sabbatical after 5 years of service to do that thing you've always wanted to try, but never had the time. This is in addition to regular long service leave
- Trips! In the past 3 years we've been to the US for CBC twice and interstate 5 times. It's a big world out there and there's lots to learn from other brewers & breweries.

- Break out to our farm 90mins north of the brewery in Brookvale for a night or two and get involved in our annual wet hop harvest.
