Job Description: Business Development Executive – Brisbane
Green Beacon Brewing Company are seeking expressions of interest for a Business Development Executive (Territory Manager) based in Brisbane.
Green Beacon is one of the pioneers of Brisbane’s Craft beer scene and is looking for a motivated salesperson to join the field sales team. The BDE is responsible for growing distribution, volume, profitability and brand experience within their customer territory.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead generation and prospecting of accounts
- Build effective relationships with customers by understanding their key business drivers & requirements
- Ensure effective call coverage and call frequency of territory
- Review outlet / venue performance and identify opportunities and obstacles to drive growth
- Educate venue staff on the Green Beacon portfolio
- Ensure high standards of Brand Merchandising are achieved in venue
Key Skills/Experience preferred:
- Completed tertiary qualification preferred
- Cicerone Certified preferred
- RSA Certified essential
- Technical expertise in beer products & styles
- Ability to deliver customer immersion sessions (dinners, tastings, beer shows/festivals etc)
- Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate with customers to close out sales and contractual arrangements
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills
- Strong numeric, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Activity planning, tracking and evaluation - excellent organisational and time management skills to deliver on commitments
- High degree of Self-management and ability to operate autonomously
- Proven ability to build enduring customer relationships/rapport
