Job Description: Bar Manager
Welcome to Carbon 6 Brewing – where craft beer meets creativity and science! We’re an exciting new brewery in Stapylton, just between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, brewing top-quality beer backed by passion, science and precision. Every brew we make is meticulously crafted and tested to perfection, and we’re looking for a fun, enthusiastic Bar Manager to take charge of our taproom and help us create an unforgettable beer experience!
Position Overview:
As our Bar Manager, you’ll be the heart and soul of the taproom. This is your chance to take ownership, bring your ideas, and make our taproom your own! You’ll lead an awesome team (created by you), while pouring our art meets science approach to craft beer and ensure every customer leaves with a smile and a memorable experience. If you love craft beer, good vibes, and want to be part of something special, this is the role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Run the show! You’ll oversee everything in the taproom, from stock to staff to service.
- Lead, train, and inspire our bar team to keep the good times flowing.
- Serve our beer like a pro – every pint poured to perfection.
- Work closely with our brew team to create and promote a killer beer menu.
- Organize awesome events, tastings, and promotions that keep people coming back.
- Keep the taproom in tip-top shape with compliance and quality standards.
- Bring your personality – we want you to create a fun, welcoming atmosphere that reflects our love for beer!
Qualifications:
- Previous experience managing a bar or taproom – if you know craft beer, even better!
- A passion for craft beer and a good understanding of different beer styles (bonus points if you can talk hops and malts all day!).
- Leadership skills with a friendly and positive attitude that gets the best out of your team.
- A knack for customer service – creating a great experience for every guest.
- RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification – is a must for this role.
- Experience in marketing (especially social media) will get you extra points ($$).
