Blackman's Brewery produce much of their beer in Geelong but their brewhouse in Torquay has long been a key part of the brewery's story.
As they look to downsize brewing at their pilot site, they're eager to sell their 12-hectolitre system.

Blackman's Brewery are selling our brewing equipment in Torquay as we look to downsize our brewing operation in our original home.
The 12-hectolitre kit has served us incredibly well in recent years and won us Champion Small Brewery at the Australian International Beer Awards in 2019. It's also won us Champion Porter in recent times so it's safe to say it makes great beer. It also looks amazing and so would make a beautiful showpiece brewery in a venue and is made in Canada with really high-quality equipment.
Newlands 12 hectolitre copper steam brewhouse (2 Vessel):
- 1 x Mash / lauter tun (with rakes)
- 1 x Kettle/ whirlpool (CAN FIT 18HL)
- 1x Hot liquor tank 24HL
- 1x Cold liquor tank 24HL
- 5 X 12 hl fermentation / UNI tanks (can fit 18HL)
- 1 x 12HL bright beer tank
- 1 x Air compressor Kaishan 5.5 – 5.8
- 1 x Fulton 200 kw steam boiler and all associated steam pipework, steam traps (fully serviced and inspected)
- 1 x Grain handling auger system for transfer of grain from Mill to Mashtun
- 1 x Royal Wolf mill and platform
- 2x control panels for temperature control of tanks and controls for brewhouse
- 2x centrifugal pumps
- 1x Hot liquor centrifugal pump
- 1x cold liquor centrifugal pump
- 1x stainless steel platform for brewhouse
- All associated stainless steel cooling pipework and electrical cables and solenoids.
If set up in the same configuration, you could save a lot on install costs.
