Sailors Grave needs to spend more time in the brewery and less time on the road, which is where you come in. We make beers that are a little different. We are looking for a positive and flexible individual to work with us to maintain our existing customers while also enabling sustainable and selective growth.
Job Description
We are seeking a sales professional or would-be professional based in Melbourne with a passion for craft beer, people and regional produce to be our person on the ground in the big smoke.
Key Duties & Qualities
- Drink the Kool-aid and spread the word.
- Commitment to invest time in brand development.
- Represent our brand and what we stand for.
- Maintain and grow existing accounts and develop new long term customer relationships.
- Identify and capitalise on opportunities to build sales.
- Organise in-store tastings, promotions and point of sale displays.
- Activate or host events.
- Work autonomously to manage and grow accounts, as well as brand awareness and reputation.
- Providing a superior level of service to our customers.
- Engage with and help grow social media audience.
- Connections to the beer, alcohol retail or hospitality industries.
- Knowledge and passion for beer and brewing.
- Flexibility with working hours, including readiness to work after hours and on weekend events at events, festivals and brand activations.
- Passion and strong knowledge of craft beer with the eagerness to immerse themselves in the industry with a deep understanding of Sailors Grave’s beers and our position in the market.
- Enthusiastic and energetic personality.
- Good sales and relationship skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Highly self-motivated.
- Australian Drivers License.
- Access to your own vehicle.
This is initially a two day a week part-time role with performance based bonuses; the position will involve after hours and weekend work on some occasions.
