Otherside Brewing was born out of the live music and festival scene in Western Australia and has grown to have its own brewery and other hospitality ventures too. 

To support that growth, Otherside is hiring an East Coast-based marketing specialist. Here's what you need to know about the role.


Job Description: Marketing Specialist - East Coast

Otherside Brewing Co. is a Fremantle born, WA brewed beer brand that has its heritage strongly grounded in festivals and music. In its short lifetime, Otherside has grown at a phenomenal rate. We have now built our own brewery and are expanding to keep up with demand and as we build market share.

The Otherside brand is part of the Triple-1-Three house, a hospitality and brewing group that has in its stable a wide range of brands and business including venues – Otherside Brewhouse and Freo.Social, Catering and food truck business - Nomads and, of course Otherside Brewing Co. and much more.

The Otherside brand has seriously taken off in WA and is garnering a significant following on the east coast. And, while we currently have sales support on the ground on the East Coast, we are looking to secure a Marketing Specialist to assist in a more strategic approach to our expansion of the brand into the East Coast market.

Reporting directly to the National Sales and Marketing Manager we would expect you to be responsible, drive and contribute to:

  • The development of informed marketing and sales programs for domestic and international markets,
  • Market intelligence including regular reporting and updates on industry trends and competitor activity,
  • Sales results and forecasts,
  • Promotion,
  • Brand representation,
  • Brand display and merchandising,
  • Internal education and training,
  • Managing and building strong relationships across multiple partners and stakeholders,
  • Provide ongoing marketing and sales support.

In terms of  real, proper previous experience, and due the specialised nature of the role, we would expect you to have international sales and marketing experience – ideally within the craft beer / beverage industry. (Cicerone qualifications are an advantage).

You would be both strategic and analytical, be a great problem solver and, because the position is remote to the head office, be motivated, dependable, have great communications capabilities and have a leaning to entrepreneurial, imaginative thinking.
