JOB DESCRIPTION: Driver & Warehouse Manager - Sydney
Akasha Brewing Company, based in Five Dock NSW, was founded in 2015 and has quickly developed a reputation for producing some of the country’s favourite hop forward beers such as Hopsmith IPA, Freshwater Pale Ale and Korben D Double IPA. Akasha’s core values are based around high quality, consistent, hop forward beers.
At Akasha, we proudly deliver our beer direct to our customers in Greater Sydney, Newcastle, Canberra and the Blue Mountains. This newly created role will spend much of their time on the road making sure these deliveries are done in a timely manner whilst maintaining positive relationships and high customer satisfaction levels with our customer network.
The role also oversees management of the stock in our Sydney brewery plus assisting with packaging and helping out as required in other parts of the business. This position would suit a highly motivated individual, keen to break into the independent beer sector. There is room for the ideal candidate to grow into other positions in the business over time.
The key functions of this role include:
- Delivering our beer around the Greater Sydney Area
- Helping to maintain stock control and management of our cold storage facility
- Interacting with customers to maintain our good relationships
- Assistance in the brewery on packaging days
To be considered for the role you will need the following:
- NSW RSA
- Current Australian Drivers License
- A love for the independent beer sector
- Be a hard-working and trustworthy individual
- Some experience working in warehousing and logistics an advantage
- Forklift license is highly desirable
