JOB DESCRIPTION: OPERATIONS MANAGER
Felons Brewing Co is a modern-day brewery nestled down under Story Bridge on the banks of the Brisbane River. Every day, we roll up our doors with a smile – brewing balanced beer which remains connected to nature and all that is good about Brisbane.
We’re on an exciting adventure of freedom and discovery and are seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to join the team. Reporting to the Venue Manager, the primary focus of the Operations Manager is to keep our service levels at the highest standard. With a proactive approach and known floor presence, you will be a strong supporter for our team members and build strong relationships with our guests. Key Responsibilities will include:
- Leading the guest experience and continually looking for opportunities to improve
- Lead and coach a diverse team of people ensuring that team culture is at the forefront of everything that you do
- Monitoring of wages, comps and wastages
- Team member rostering in line with forecasting and budgeting
- Assisting the guests with any feedback and actioning as appropriate
- Contribute to a culture of care and safety, ensuring it becomes a way of life within the business
- Ensuring venue presentation is at a high standard at all times
- Liaising with other departments on a regular basis
- A high knowledge of the product produced in venue
What we’re looking for:
- An energetic leader and enthusiastic beer lover
- Previous experience in working in a high-volume hospitality environment
- Experience in managing and coaching teams
- Ability to own situations and make decisions as necessary
- RSA essential, RMLV desired
- Intermediate computer skills
- Qualification in Hospitality desired
