Brick Lane are currently undergoing a major expansion and as a result, the Melbourne brewery is hiring.

Warehouse Storeperson: Job Description 

Brick Lane Brewing is a proudly independent brewer making awesome beers and ciders from its world class brewery in South East Melbourne.

We actively engage with a broad range of partners across a variety of areas through brewing great beers, partnering with customers in the trade, and helping community organisations and charities.

We are seeking a Warehouse Storeperson to join our growing team.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Champion our safety first culture and hold accountability for safety in the work area 
  • Operate forklift to load, unload vehicles and safely store goods and including daily forklift checks
  • Inventory management including correctly receipt goods ensuring accurate completion of goods vouchers
  • Replenishment of packaging and raw brewing materials as required
  • Labelling and movement of kegs (inbound and outbound)
  • Wrapping and labelling of finished packaged goods pallets and safely store 
  • Stocktake of warehouse and raw materials
  • General cleaning, ad hoc packaging production support and other duties as required to support achievement of productions plans
  • Maintain Brick Lane’s showcase brewery status by employing 5S principals to create a clean, sanitary, and efficient manufacturing operation
  • Work to achieve Brick Lane’s sustainability goals by reducing waste in all forms.

Please note this role will require working rotating morning and afternoon rosters to achieve production goals.

This role requires strong forklift experience with twin tyne forklifts and high reach experience. A current forklift licence is a requirement of this role.

You’ll bring experience in a production brewing, beverage or food manufacturing environment with a dedication to safety and outstanding teamwork and communication skills.
