Media Release: Beerfarm herd new talent as the business prepares to expand nationally
Independently-owned West Australian craft brewery, Beerfarm, has announced the appointment of three key hires as part of its national growth plans.
Dennis Lynn (pictured above) joins the Beerfarm crew as Head of Finance. Having worked a number of cross-functional and commercial roles with premium brands, most recently at Stone & Wood Brewing Co. as their Group Financial Controller, he’ll play a key role in evolving and executing Beerfarm’s business strategy.
Jessica Craig will Head up Marketing and Activations. Armed with 14 years of business and marketing experience across Big W and other major consumer brands, Jess will ensure that the Beerfarm brand, product, and experience is consistent and accessible across the board.
WA and international culinary talent, Hayden Vink, has also joined the team as Head Chef. Hayden’s experience spans high-end restaurants in France and Portugal, and he’ll be looking to give the locally sourced food a European spin, as well as a hint of South Asian flavour – a cuisine he’s particularly passionate about.
The hires coincide with a time of significant investment for the business including the launch of a custom-built kitchen for its Metricup venue. The Beerfarm team are also set to replicate the award-winning set-up with the launch of another Beerfarm at Glenworth Valley within the central coast of NSW. Construction is set to begin in early 2024.
Darrel van Dort, Chief Operating Officer said: “We’re thrilled to welcome some exceptional talent to the Beerfarm team. Each are industry leaders in their fields and will add tremendous value as we expand our premium beverages, exceptional local food and genuine experiences to a wider and more national base.”
The announcements are part of some strong momentum for the Beerfarm team. In November, the crew’s IPL won “Best beer of the year” from the recent WA Good Food Guide Awards.
