Shambles Brewery Afternoon Delight

It can get mighty cold in Hobart in the middle of winter, but one place where you’ll always find a sense of the sun is in Afternoon Delight, Shambles Brewery's summer ale. The easy-drinking pale is designed for enjoyment after a hard day’s work (or even when you haven’t worked all that hard) and provides a light, refreshing hit of hops.

Largely, they come in the shape of citrus that flickers between grapefruit and sweet, fleshy orange but there’s also elements of pine and grapefruit. Although largely a lean affair, there’s a touch of malt richness that sinks in and only further encourages you, in turn, to sink into your chair and call it a day.
