Like all of Shambles' core range beers, The Big Guy comes in a mighty 500ml tin, but that's not what makes him big. What makes The Big Guy big is is complex web of dark malt that brings smooth, rich and velvety flavours to the fore.
Those mostly carry dark chocoalte, brown sugar and roast but, as things warm up, there's also plenty of toffee and caramel to be unearthed as a touch of coffee comes through against its bitter backdrop. In other words, if you love robust porters, this one's best served by the pint.
Fortunately, that's what makes The Big Guy's big can so special.
