If their Helles showcases the finest brewing techniques from Germany, Brightstar's Czech Pilsener hops over the border to the east to do the same for Czech brewers. Similar in appearance but very different in terms of flavour profile, Brightstar’s is once again lagered for an extended period of time, served from a fresh serving tank at their brewpub, and features Bohemian Pilsener malt and Saaz hops.
A slice of Czech Republic in the back streets of Thebarton, Czech Pilsener hits the style guidelines spot on. A honey golden hue, complete with brilliant transparency and a brilliant white head tempts you in, where you'll find bready elements which intertwine with honey malts and a touch of herbal spice. Similar characteristics play out flavour wise within a medium bodied beer, coming together in a clean, refreshing pils.
