In 2023, Slipstream collaborated with NZ Hops to make an IPA full of… well, NZ hops. That first Thrill Seeker was all about the tropicals and stonefruit of Nectaron, Nelson Sauvin and Waimea.
It seems Slipstream couldn’t stay away, so they’ve made another version of Thrill Seeker, this time doubling down on citrus by using Moutere and Motueka hops, with an extra boost from Motueka Hop Kief* to amp up the zestiness even further and make drinking this IPA an extreme sport.**
A blast of fresh lime and resin like air rushing past during an eight-second freefall. Super clean flavours like a plunge into an icy cold river. A firm hold of biscuit and crystal malts like a well-fastened safety harness. A flowing grapefruit peel bitterness that picks up speed like white water rapids. A satiny body like slipping between the sheets of your Airbnb.
All thrills. No spills. (Seriously, don’t spill it or you’ll be sad.)

** If you're thinking, “Mick, you wouldn’t know an extreme sport if it slapped you in the face”… just stop right there. Have I been bungee jumping before? No. But do I have a trip to New Zealand booked for early next year? Also no. But am I drinking this beer in my pyjamas, and planning to have a large cup of tea after this before I get into bed? You bet your ass I am. So don’t tell me I don’t know how to have fun.
