When the crew at Preston's Tallboy & Moose was bequeathed a freshly emptied rum barrel from their neighbours at Carwyn Cellars, they saw only one appropriate way to handle it: fill the barrel with beer and throw a tropical party.
The beer, Rum Daddy, will be launched on August 10, with the brewery transforming into a Caribbean delight for the whole weekend.
Aside from the beer launch, the party will also include rum cocktails, indoor volleyball, Caribbean tunes, fruit bowl arranging competitions, a palm tree relaxation zone and a special menu by Wee Man's Kitchen.
