The Western Australian Brewers Association is hosting the inaugural WA Brewers Conference as part of WA Beer Week 2019.
The one day conference is taking place on June 28 in the Ellie Eaton Pavilion at the Claremont Showgrounds, in partnership with the Royal Agricultural Society.
There is a packed schedule of sessions, kicked off by a keynote speech from Jayne Lewis of Two Birds Brewing.
Other presenters include Brendan Varis and Will Irving of Feral, Miles Hull of Gage Roads, Hugh Dunn of Edith Cowan University, and Advanced Cicerone Matt Marinich of Otherside.
There are sessions and panel discussions on everything from yeast and barrels to the crowded marketplace, from the Container Deposit Scheme to hospitality. And there will be a Trade Expo giving attendees the opportunity to network with local, national and international suppliers.
You can download the program here.
The Crafty Pint is also partnering with Cryer Malt to deliver another Brewery Startup Panel for anyone in the early stages of their pro brewing journey – details on that here.
Tickets to the conference cost $75pp plus booking fee and include:
- Entry to all sessions across two theatres
- Access to the trade exhibitor area, led by Bintani and Cryer Malt
- Tea and coffee, lunch and post conference beers.
