If you love bright pink sour beer and *checks notes* vodka made out gnocchi, there's a chance to live your crazed fantasy this weekend as Boatrocker embark on a double launch of the weird and, in all probability, wonderful.
For starters they've taken their flamboyant fan favourite Miss Pinky and doubled the recipe – that's twice the raspberries and twice the ABV – and will be launching the new beer, Double Happiness, at Beer Deluxe Fed Square alongside a bunch of other Boatrocker beers.
If you can't shake off your less important plans to make it out on Saturday, keep your eyes peeled for cans of Double Happiness hitting retailers the following week.
Then there's this thing they're calling Gnodka, which sounds a bit iffy tbh.
But when you learn that they've created this spirit with 48h (voted Australia’s best pizza and gnocchi restaurant, no less) using their hand rolled gnocchi as the base for the wash then distilled it with Italian bergamot and blood oranges, you get the feeling like this was a really good idea – especially so given the launch at Boatrocker's Barrel Room will also feature 48h slinging said pizza and gnocchi (not to mention tiramisu...).
And they've decided to stay open until 9pm so you can stick around for seconds *kisses fingers*.
Both events kick off at midday.
