Like licking the spoon while mixing up icing or sneaking a few fresh berries off the bush, having a small taste before anyone else gets a chance is one of life's guilt-free little pleasures.
It applies to beer too, and most certainly at The Valley Brewhouse in the Hunter Valley where they're preparing for the launch of a couple of new beers at the end of the month and offering a chance for you to try them before the masses.
It's happening on August 29 when they're hosting a pre-launch soiree where you'll get to try four beers (two classics plus two brand new ones), the first three of which will be matched with canapés and the final one with dessert.
Ticket cost $49 which includes all the beer and food. There are a limited number of spots available, so you'd be advised to book a table here.
