It's been eight years since Bridge Road Brewers launched a new range of farmhouse style beers under the Mayday Hills label, and it's seen a string of releases every bit as eclectic and refined as you'd expect from one of our true industry pioneers.
On November 22 they'll be taking a bunch of these beers to Sydney where the crew will be sharing them throughout a guided tasting at the Hopsters Cooperative Brewery in Enmore.
It'll feature the Mayday Hills Gruit (a collaboration with Michael Ryan of Beechworth Bitters Co. fame), Mayday Hills Feijoa (a spontaneously fermented wild ale aged in oak barrels with locally grown feijoas), and Mayday Hills Sauvignon Blanc Sour (a spontaneously fermented wild ale aged in oak barrels on grape skins from Beechworth's Sorrenberg vineyard).
And for good measure, they'll crack open some Bridge Road Brewers B2 Mach 13, the thirteenth edition of the brewery's flagship birthday beast of a beer.
Tickets to the tasting cost just $30 and can be booked here.
