Any Brisbane beer lovers bemoaning the curtain falling on this year's Brewsvegas needn't mope for long as the Brisbane Beer Fest returns in April.
"Queensland's largest beer festival" returns to the Grass at the Eatons Hill Hotel to offer up more than 130 beers and ciders plus a lineup of live entertainment, DJs an international food court and larger than life MC Sam Kekovich.
The festival will feature 35 local and interstate breweries showcasing their wares on the hotel lawns, including:
- Green Beacon
- 4 Pines
- Stone & Wood
- Holgate Brewhouse
- Fortitude / Noisy Minor
- Mountain Goat
- Bacchus Brewing
Alongside popular drops from the brewers, the organisers are promising some out of the ordinary beers too, including a Lamington Dark Ale, Snickers Amber Ale and the Smokin' Mountie, a "Canadian Breakfast Beer" featuring aromas and flavours of smoky bacon and maple syrup.
Entry is by gold coin donation with all proceeds going to the Daniel Morcombe Foundation.
Gates open at 11am and the festival runs until late. It is an 18+ event.
Eatons Hill Hotel is at 646 South Pine Road, Eatons Hill.
