At the end of a long night, it's not uncommon to find brewers forsaking beer for a wee tipple of gin. Indeed, alongside craft beer, small gin distilleries seem to be experiencing a bit of a renaissance.
One of them, Victoria's Four Pillars, will be heading along to one of Melbourne's most beloved beer bars, The Local Taphouse in St Kilda, for the Labour Day weekend. There they'll be dispensing their fine wares, including one-off cocktails, beer cocktails, boilermakers and more.
It'll be a very chilled-out affair, taking place in the upstairs speakeasy that is Wilfred's Bar.
