About Us:
Terella Brewing is an award-winning brewery located on 69 scenic acres in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, drawing thousands of visitors weekly to enjoy our craft beers and beautiful setting. We are now in an exciting growth phase, adding a restaurant and artisan distillery to our offerings, and we’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to help guide this expansion while also supporting our established brewery operations.
Role Overview:
The Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day operations of our existing brewery, including overseeing budgeting and ensuring smooth operational workflows. Additionally, this individual will lead the development and growth strategies for our new distillery and restaurant, working closely with our team to bring these new ventures to life and drive revenue. For the right candidate, there is also an opportunity to invest and potentially take on a shareholding role in Terella Brewing.
Responsibilities:
- Existing Brewery Operations: Oversee day-to-day management of our established brewery, including budgeting, workflow management, and staff coordination to ensure operational efficiency and profitability.
- New Distillery and Restaurant Development: Drive the business development and launch strategy for our new ventures, developing strategic plans that align with our vision for an expanded destination experience.
- Build partnerships within the hospitality and tourism sectors to boost awareness and attract new visitors.
- Work alongside marketing to design and execute campaigns and events to promote our brewery, distillery, and restaurant.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, distributors, and tourism partners, to support all aspects of the business.
- Conduct market research and analyse performance metrics to adjust strategies as needed for continued growth.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in business development, ideally within hospitality, food & beverage, or tourism industries.
- Proven success in managing day-to-day operations and budgeting in a hospitality setting.
- Strong relationship-building skills with an established network in the hospitality industry.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on experience in executing growth initiatives.
- Passion for craft brewing and an interest in the brewery/distillery industry is a plus.
