Dangerous Ales Friends

Friends pours a shade of golden it shares with many other beers. It also has the sort of dense haze shared by many others. And yet it brings the two together in a way that's somehow unlike many others.

Presumably that's down to the nature of its makeup: this is a cream sour with coconut, mango and vanilla alongside the lactose. I can’t decide if the overall experience is like the sort of confection Arnott's might weigh up for a limited release, or is more akin to a dessert you’d be offered in a restaurant in India. Either way, I guarantee you won't have come across much like it before, and probably won't again in a hurry.
