Land & Sea’s core range beers have a strong focus on being sessionable, approachable and perfect for knocking back a few on a sunny day (which, to be honest, is most days in Noosa). The only one to be careful of is Juice Box IPA; while it goes down easily, it’s higher in ABV. But it’s not going anywhere, since it’s bursting with fluffy, juicy, fruity hop character, and the people love it.
Why all this preamble? Because it shows that clearly Land & Sea drinkers are ready for a sessionable beer that’s all about the hops.
Enter Hazy Pale Ale, loaded with Galaxy and Eclipse, as well as Eclipse Spectrum hop extract to double-down on the flavour – and this is before you even consider what the tropical yeast is adding to the mix.
Spritzy mandarin aromas lead the way, before this beer evolves into orange mango juice with just a dash of passionfruit and pine for good measure. Meanwhile, raw wheat, malted oats and gentle carbonation work together to offer a soft body like the padding of a thick picnic rug on golden sand.
Aussie hops, colour of sunshine, softer than sand. Positively designed for beach drinking. Or at least imagining the beach while you drink.
