Phillip Island Brewing Shipwreck IPA

The wreck of The Speke has been sitting on Phillip Island’s sand for well over a century; fortunately, the beer it inspired is a whole lot fresher.

The West Coast IPA from Phillip Island Brewing certainly has a story to tell, starting with a softly sweet malt backbone from which the hops can launch, taking the shape of pine, grapefruit and resin plus a lasting bitterness that sticks around long after the beer is gone.
