Sure, Winston never made it there but Churchill Island is a wonderful place. The island off another island should really be the way they define “quant” in a dictionary thanks to its pristine, stroll-worthy trails and precious-little-else.

In other words, it doesn’t sound very Winston Churchill at all, even if the brash man might have enjoyed the peace of quiet with an ESB in hand. Phillip Island Brewing’s take on the style is made with five different malts that provide sweet biscuit, bread and toffee while a touch of spice and earthiness appears too.
