Shapeshifter Brewing Make Your Move

Dark beers tend to be best associated with colder weather but plenty strike a perfect balance that ensures they’re suited to any time of year. Make Your Move is such a beer, with Shapeshifter’s Czech dark lager blending rich undertones and lighter notes in such a way that, soon after it was released (AKA immediately), it became a house favourite at the brewery's Findon taproom.

It also found favour with some of the nation's best beer palates, taking out a gold medal at The Indies in 2022. So what ensured its popularity? It seems clear it's that harmonious balance between coffee, roasted and chocolate notes and bitterness which promptly disappear as the clean and lean finish kicks in.
