Lagers have been making something of a comeback in the affections of the country's beer lovers over the past couple of years.
For the team at Heads of Noosa, however, lager is a way of life so they're hardly going to be the sorts to let an Oktoberfest pass without getting involved.
COVID might have put paid to the original festival in Munich, but it hasn't stopped the Sunshine Coast brewers marking it with a new release.
Their Oktoberfest beer – one of the first beers they brewed but never bottle before – will make its 2021 debut at the taproom on September 18, with German inspired food and cold beer pouring from midday.
