As part of Good Land's third birthday celebrations, during which the Gippsland brewery created a whole bunch of new beers, the crew from Hopheads managed to get themselves deeply ensconced in the festivities and ended up going all-in on a collaborative beer.
That beer is Peakin' – a salted pastry stout with added vanilla and pecans – that you'll likely not have had the chance to try before. Until now, that is, as you can head to Hopheads for a glass or three as they host a belated Good Land birthday bash on August 2 at their Altona and Point Cook venues.
The main soiree takes place at Hopheads Altona which will be pouring all seven of Good Land's birthday beers as well as hosting the brewery's main man Jimmy Krekelberg for a few drinks and a chat at the bar. Meanwhile, over at Point Cook they'll be pouring a slightly smaller, but equally delicious, selection of the birthday beers and collaboration.
If you're reading this in time, all three Hopheads venues are celebrating IPA Day (August 1) with Hawkers' increasingly powerful Boss Fight IPAs. Beers will be on 'til they're gone, or until supplanted by the Good Land birthday beers.
