Proving that you don't have to leave Brunswick to get a good taste of German beer tradition, the crew at CoConspirators have lined up a treat for their Oktoberfest celebrations.
Taking place on October 5-6, 'Oktoberfest in Brunswick' will see six local independent brewers – which is to say, only those from Brunswick – come together under the one roof to showcase some of the styles of beer currently being enjoyed by the heaving hordes over in Munich at this time of year.
The line will be led by CoCon's own Berliner Weisse, The Tourist, which will be getting its launch during the event, and for this one time only they'll be offering you some colourful flavour shot additions, by way of raspberry, passionfruit, blackberry, and pink grapefruit.
Going on tap alongside that will be the following:
- Rocky Ridge Brunswick - Schwarzbier
- Bridge Road Brewers - Hoppy Märzen
- Inner North Brewing - Bock
- Gales Brewery - Hefeweizen
- Foreigner Brewing Company - Festbier
For the all important sustenance, you can tuck into the in-residence Alf's Pizza as well as Oktoberfest-friendly sweet and savoury pretzels from Bretzle.biz.
Entry is free all weekend, but bookings are recommended.
