Update 27/9 – The Modus crew have advised that this year's festivities have unfortunately been cancelled.
While you can fiddle around the edges, the key ingredients for a successful Oktoberfest are pretty simple: gather as much German or German style beer as you can, serve it up with German style food, plonk on some traditional German music, and it's gonna be hard not to have a good time.
And that's more or less the idea at Modus as they prepare to host Oktoberfest celebrations at their Merewether home.
Taking place on October 12, you'll be able to enjoy their super fresh and very limited edition Festbier from your very own half litre stein. They'll have hearty German fare for your feasting needs, plus a live Oompah band, brewery tours, and other activities.
The fun runs from midday til 3pm, with two options:
- Bratwurst Tier: Includes a stein, your first fill, plus food ($79)
- Bratbest Tier: Includes a stein and all your beer and food ($115)
