The Fermentis Academy is on the road again in October 2024, calling into Brisbane and Melbourne for half-day sessions focused on yeast, bacteria and fermentation.
The Melbourne leg runs from 2pm to 6pm on October 9, hosted by Simon Jeanpierre, Fermentis technical sales support manager – Asia Pacific, and Sam Bethune, technical sales specialist for the Academy's co-host Bintani.
The first part of the Fermentis Academy is dedicated to Improving Efficiency and Lowering Brewing Costs, looking in detail at Yeast Management and increasing Fermentation Productivity.
The second part of the afternoon will look at New or Near Beer Innovation in brewing. The talks and tastings here will be explore Low/No Alc Beers, Lager Beer Diversity, and Wild Ferments before the day ends with a networking session featuring great beers and food.
Participants will get to learn about latest yeast, bacteria and fermentation techniques available in brewing, and exchange and taste more than ten different beers.
