For a second year the CoConspirators will be bringing the Yuletide vibe to Brunswick as they host their Christmas market.
As was the case last year, rather than getting sucked into impulse buying a whole bunch of crap from the big box retailers, they're encouraging you to shop local this festive season with an eclectic range of thoughtful producers and lovingly crafted goods to solve all your immediate and forthcoming gift-buying problems.
Starting at 10am on December 1 they'll have coffee and breakfast snacks to get you going, then you're free to wander the stalls and nab some one-of-a-kind pressies, from handcrafted goodies to seasonal treats. And unlike the aforementioned big box retailers where drinking beer might get you a ride home in the back of a squad car, this is one market where you can most definitely enjoy a few beers while doing your shopping.
Long-time residents Alf's Pizza are at the end of their tenure in the brewery kitchen and this will be the very last day to get a slice of their action; you don't have to buy them a gift, but a slice of pizza would probably make them happy. The oven will be on at midday.
The market will run from 10am-4pm, and entry is free.
