The best bowling club in the land is hosting its annual membership drive this Sunday.
The Petersham Bowling Club is a classic bowlo that was saved from the developers by the community who took it over, transformed it and now run it as a little suburban oasis of awesome.
To keep the coffers ticking over, they hold an annual membership drive encouraging locals to come down and check out what they offer, namely plenty of lawn for the kids to run around on, a jumping castle, a full schedule of live music, good food and a terrific range of craft beer on tap from local brewers (you're bound to bump into a few of them hanging around during the day).
So head down, join up for the year (it only costs a couple of dollars) and know that you're supporting something special.
