To celebrate the addition of the American Amber Ale as the seventh beer in their permanent range, the crew at 4 Pines is throwing a wee celebration.
This Friday at the Brookvale brewery's Truck Bar – an old Dodge truck with 21 taps running down its side – they're inviting you in to come and enjoy the Amber Ale as it rolls off the packing line for the first time.
For a new release the beer has a long history, having first been trialled as a small batch at the Manly brewpub, then winning fans as the first ever bottled Keller Door release before being named Champion Amber Ale at last year's CBIA awards.
There's a good chance it's slipped under many people's radar, so what better place to give it a try than at the brewery where it was was, mere hours after it left the tank. There's all the more reason if you're a member of the 4 Pines Beer Club as this particular evening you'll get free upgrades to pints. And even if you're not a member, any time you buy an amber ale at the bar you'll go in the draw to win one of five cases of the beer to take home with you.
The Truck Bar will be open from 4pm.
