Spring has arrived, the flowers are out, and the days are getting longer, resulting in the dormant part of our souls lurking out for that cheeky Thursday afternoon beer because have you seen how delightful it is out there?!
Seeker Brewing are happy to facilitate good vibes with the release of Flower Power DDH IPA. Pouring a psychedelic creaminess in colour, the airy head dissipates into a buzzy beer dream. This big-hitter has quite a polite flavour profile considering it’s 6.8 perent ABV, while its smooth, well-balanced bitterness makes it remarkably crushable, and I doubt the blend of Superdelic, Galaxy and Sabro hops will have you reaching for an antihistamine.
Their second spring release is the triple IPA Spring Chorus and, hoo boy, it tips the scales above 10 percent ABV. Seeker have provided a symphony of flavour and mouthfeel through the use of Freestyle Motueka, Mosaic, Citra and Nelson Sauvin hops. The initial taste comes blasting sweet tropical fruit notes but the beer ends with a whisper of the dankness so many love from a Triple IPA.
Its lip-licking sweetness is best enjoyed with a tangerine sunset in view and spring vibes only.
